This Privacy Policy describes how the Al Wahda app ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "Service").

• Admin Account Information: When you register for an admin account, we collect your name, email address, and optionally, your phone number. This is used to create and manage your account and for approval purposes.

2. Information We Collect Automatically:

• Usage Data: We automatically collect basic, non-personally identifiable information about how you interact with our Service. This may include which features you use and the frequency of your use. This helps us understand what is most useful to our community and allows us to improve the app.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store a unique token for your device to send you prayer time reminders and other important announcements.
• Location Data: We collect your device's precise location when you use the Qibla finder feature to calculate the direction to Mecca. This location data is processed locally on your device and is not stored on our servers.
• Device Information: We automatically collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage analytics through Firebase Analytics to improve app performance and understand user preferences.
• Diagnostic Data: We may collect crash reports and performance data to identify and fix technical issues with our app.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To operate and maintain our Service, including displaying prayer times and events.
• To manage your admin account and your access to certain features.
• To communicate with you, including sending you notifications about prayer times, community events, and important announcements.
• To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
• To monitor the usage of our Service and analyze data to improve the user experience.
• To calculate Qibla direction based on your location when you use the Qibla finder feature.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following situations:

• With Service Providers: We use Google Firebase services including Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Cloud Messaging for notifications, and Analytics for app improvement. Data Retention

We retain admin account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data and analytics are retained for up to 26 months. Location data is processed locally and not stored on our servers. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your Data Rights

You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your personal information. If you are an admin user, you can manage your information by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
